Morrison For Columbia

Steve Morrison for Mayor

A Hard Fought Race Comes to an End

Thanks to all of my wonderful volunteers and voters.  With your help, we ran a positive, honorable and competitive campaign.  I have drawn great strength from each of you and congratulate Steve Benjamin and Kirkman Finlay for their good races.

I encourage you to go the polls on Tuesday, April 20, and vote again.  Some of you will favor one candidate and some the other, but the democratic process of selecting leaders is important.  We should always be a part of the process.

Please don’t be disappointed that we did not prevail.  Many good issues were raised and Columbia will be a winner in that new ideas have seen the light. Thanks again for your interest and involvement in my campaign.  Gail and I look forward to seeing you in the future and working with you to make Columbia an outstanding city.

Thank You!

Gail and I look forward to seeing you in the days to come and you will always have a special place in my heart for the support you have shown me during the campaign.  Thank you!

Recycle Your Yardsign

Following the election, City Roots, Columbia's first farm within the city limits, will use the metal frames from the campaign signs as row covers at the farm. Campaign volunteers will be collecting signs to take to City Roots after the election, but you can also drop them at City Roots if you'd like to check out the farm.

Thank You

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard in my campaign. I appreciate the tireless folks who staffed my headquarters, managed our volunteers, contributed their resources and came out to vote.
